    Motorway Lights.

Driving on dark roads is a lot more tiring. Lit roads will be safer because you can see a lot more detail and see much further ahead. For anyone, eg. lorry drivers, doing big miles mainly on motorways/A roads I would guess that there is a lot less fatigue for them where lighting is present...

    Conservatory.

On a really big house with several living rooms, a good quality conservatory off of one of them may be ok. But on a smallish house with one lounge, screwing what is basically a greenhouse to it is a bad idea. Brother has a bungalow and the people who own the bungalow two doors up had a...

What have you been doing today?

Sitting in traffic! Thought it was ridiculously busy/gridlock wherever I went, even for a Friday lunchtime. Sat in it for a while, then gave up and went home. Later found out M5 was closed both directions because of 'police incident' on bridge near Avonmouth docks. All the traffic then diverted...

It'll be mad (dick) Ed Milliband. Saving those polar bears one at a time.

Securing garage door with narrow frame

Wondering if there's enough width on that frame to get an internally surface mounted rim lock on there. Looks like there is was one before...

Deportation, or as some say - Remigration.

The only consolation is that in common with Altrincham, Crowborough is reasonably well to do. It's not until the liberal chattering classes get to enjoy a bit of the diversity up close and personal that they are so keen on that things may change. When Jemima and Rupert are being hassled for sex...

Deportation, or as some say - Remigration.

I never understand this bit. They're claiming to be oppressed (or some other sob story bs) in their own country - but have no proof they came from the country they claim was doing the oppressing. So we just give them the benefit of the doubt and that's one more liability for the UK taxpayer.

Suella Braverman defects to Reform UK

Maybe she was stifled last time in power, but her Conservative instincts are obvious. Her now being in Reform could be interesting.

Suella Braverman defects to Reform UK

Yes, but in my wet dream she was butt naked except for Jack boots and a large iron cross balanced on her cleavage.:love::love:

Suella Braverman defects to Reform UK

Or an RNLI lifeboat scooping up another load of illegals.

Suella Braverman defects to Reform UK

Suppose Sweller's defection is one way of stopping Tories and Reform splitting the vote at next election. All Tories jump in the Reform lifeboat. Just no stopping to pick up and illegals on the way! (y)

    Trump

Same reason we're screwed. If someone competent gets elected next time and tries to turn around The UK $h1tfest that's been going on for years the same sort of purple haired loons will try everything to prevent the return of sanity.

    Would Starmer campaign for Reform?

I often wonder why people who are very wealthy want the aggro of being PM, pres, etc. Rishi Sunak for example or even The Don. Is it for the challenge, vanity? Many moons ago it would be possibly be viewed as giving something back or civic duty, but not so sure now. And how bad is you missus'...

    Would Starmer campaign for Reform?

Yep. That's the trouble these days, the powers that be want to turn everyone in such jobs into social workers. Police, probation, criminal justice as well.
