Take a pic of the connection to the wires of the fluorescent fitting itself. We reckon the single black will connect to one cable to the fitting and the bunch of blacks will connect to the other cable to the fitting.
I suppose if you can find a euromodule face plate with a thick surround you could file a cable outlet groove which would allow a socket, fuse and switch to fill the 4spaces
Not had one snap like that (yet) but they do catch your fingers when you shut them if you are not careful.....
contact wago and see what they say, they might ask for them back to check them and should replace them (with more perhaps??)
Pair of RS cutters with the stock number of 544-386. last sold by RS at £61 (yes I know they are as bad as snap on for pricing!) and to me for the princely sum of 50p.
they actually look unused with no light visible between the cutting edges, so I am a happy bunny this easter (see what I did...
Found this

but how to mount it is your problem!
Edit, I can't find an architrave size plate to hold a euro module. Do you know anyone with a 3d printer....
"As above not in a bathroom and potentially used for euro socket hair straighteners which would overload an isolating transformer."
Might be easier to cut off the two pin plug and fit a proper plug.

fit it on a patress box or architrave back box
edit only fits certain modules from the same...
Should sit flush, perhaps a cable or debris is keeping it away. If you are happy to do so, turn the power off and remove it from the wall, don't disconnect any cables and put another pic on here.
You can buy stainless flexible conduit Similiar to the bit already fixed to the fan so could you use that to protect the other cable? The only downside is most conduit like that is nor watertight so you would have to ensure there was a suitable drip loop to let any water out
I agree cheaper to replace the connector (wheres Maplin when you need them.....) but if you cant find someone to replace it for you if you dont have the skill then buying a new one might be easier and it it is in a medical enviroment a new one might be better
You could buy one from here

if you are careful and have a steady hand you can put the ferrules with the plastic bit on backwards then cut the plastic bit off but there is usually enough room in a plug to fit them the right way
