My sister works as a welfare driver. Last week, a pupil hit her, pulled her hair and spat at her. She just carries on working... and paying her taxes... supporting the degenerate parents who have made such a terrible job of raising the children who abuse her. Who needs that at 60? What a life!

If you work hard for 40 years, supporting all and sundry through your taxes, I think it's reasonable to expect a pension that will pay your heating bills; especially when your taxes have been spunked on hotel accommodation for illegal immigrants, flat screen TVs and marijuana.

Basically, we agree regarding PIP, but the idea that millionaire business owners are scroungers is for the birds. Many years ago, Colman's Mustard built homes and schools for their employees and their families. Essentially, this is still happening, but it's through taxation.

I think our economy would be bouncing if every physically able adult worked for 35 years. Start work at 16 or 18, or study until you're 24. Just do your 40 years and then retire. Every man and his dog are applying for PIP these days. There's even a pop-up ad for an autism quiz running on this...
