    Night storage heaters

We've suggested you say no more loads of times, but it seems to have had little effect

    Two meters down to one

You can see in the ops photo they've connected one set of tails to the isolator leaving some of the installation powered up, and the op has the other set of tails.

    Speaker socket for architrave box

Can't you just mount your speaker socket of choice into an architrave blank plate?

    Night storage heaters

Wow the laws of physics have really changed since I studied them. Noise becomes heat when you hear it? Light becomes heat when you see it? You never cease to amaze me with your nonsense

Nope, but it would do more good than putting those bits of tape on

    Hob Installation Wiring Help

You don't thin it down as that will cause it to burn out. There's plenty of room there to fit your wires in.

So he put some tape on, but didn't bother to put the CPCs into individual sleevings or install a link to the back box

    Flex for 13a sockets ?

I've worked on some large sites recently where all the final circuits are wired in standard flex. All the lights are wired using pre made flex 7 leads and marshalling boxes laid in basket with no on site terminations made at all.

Bathroom Electrics Carried Out by Non-Certified Installer

My advice would be to steer well clear of the likes of my builder type websites. They are generally populated by people who can't find work any other way. Your best bet is to ask around friends, family and work colleagues for a tradesman they can recommend.

No you're not and you're too pig headed to see it. This forum was a much more pleasant and friendly place when you were not around.

    25mm cable ???

BAS if you can't reply without being abusive then please do not reply at all. No one wants to hear it, no one's impressed by it and it makes you look worse than the person you think your criticising.

Why isn't the AC version called an AC power supply?

    25mm cable ???

Were those the dimmers Noah had on the ark?

    25mm cable ???

I've got a dimmer in my bathroom. The really clever thing about dimmers is that you can turn them up to full when ever you want. Amazing or what

    25mm cable ???

Or maybe in the real world sparks aren't idiots and are more than capable of running in a few wires of the correct spec without any problem at all.
