Before laying laminate, focus on making the concrete edge stable and level. Use a patching compound to fill any holes or crumbling spots and smooth the surface so the laminate and underlayment sit flat. Tiny gaps under the trim aren’t a problem since laminate is a floating floor.

Use exterior-grade plywood for the shed floor. Bring smaller pieces if needed and glue and screw them together for a strong, lasting floor.
