As far as I understand the situation these islands were never Mauritius territory. The UK relocated the inhabitants to Croydon in the 1960s and they now want the territory back. Quite why they have been served eviction notices from the island is beyond me This is all rather smelly

Not sure I agree with that. We were denied our local elections last year and this year they are going ahead BUT our local councillor says the Surrey changes are causing issues and will do for years. So delaying local elections delivers nothing. ?

In fairness to Reeves she did go on about growth - but it seems the growth she is delivering is the wrong type

Being able to vote in Elections is our right. Here in Surrey our local elections last year were deferred which I thought was a bad day for democracy Its just another U turn for the muppets in Government

Go to the bathroom, turn on light Return to consumer unit and switch off 1 MCB then see if the light has gone out . If it doesn’t gon out, don’t assume it’s the other circuit breaker, turn that off and check its off. Then you’ll know
