    What a load of old drival. Valve stiff and needs regreasing or changing. Even if you changes the taps, labour at most £75, unless you want to call PimlicoPlumbers. And I'm a plumber in Surrey. :)

    Send it back to Mira - they may like it for their museum :lol: You can get a replacement mira that will fit the existing pipes, check with Mira. I would not think it is servicable now.

    When you get the tap head off. The valve needs to be undone with a wrench or spanner anti clockwise whilst you hold the body of the tap from moving.

    You got it blondie! Get a tap reviver kit, it will be cheaper than you hunting around for a valve that fits your existing head. :)

    Is the tap stuck or very stiff, or is it just turning round and round? Check that before anything else.

    Yes it will work, but you may need extensions both ends. If you intend to keep your existing valves then check they are both 1/2" connections to your extensions :)

    Nope, I supplied at cost price. Customer was very aware of prices. As we were doing other work for them I didn't mind. And I've got the written quote to prove it.

    Your be luck that the towel rail gives 1kw. Towel rails don't give a lot of heat. Try www.radcalcs.com and put your details in for output required. Then look around for towel rail/rad to meet your needs. :)

    One good thing the customer has already paid up. If I don't get any joy it's either going back on the wall for Triton to deal with or it will be buy another from somewhere else and do a swap and return, which I'm reluctant to do. Could be digging my own grave forking out another £245.

    Its standing in my hallway at the moment awaiting a reply from Tapsuk. It's a Topaz T100si 10.5kw and on commissioning it only gave out 33deg C. Rang Triton and they confirmed fault.
