Does it matter? It all depends where you take it and what they give you for it. This question comes up time and time again.

moved radiator - now its not getting hot?

One pipe systems require patience as you are getting to know. The layout and output is different to the 'normal' two pipe system. Appreciate how it works and it's needs, and you won't have any problems. You can convert it to a two pipe system, but to do this effectively, and to minimise...

moved radiator - now its not getting hot?

It will eventually circulate but it will be sluggish. Did you fit full bore rad valve, if not they may help.

moved radiator - now its not getting hot?

If you have piped it up exactly the same, circulation should still not be a problem. The problem is as you have used speedfit, then you will have peaks and troughs in the run which will hold air. If by just opening the bleed valve doesn't clear the 'air lock' then turn the valves off, drain rad...

moved radiator - now its not getting hot?

Turn off one valve - bleed rad until no air spurts out. Open valve again then repeat with other valve. It can only be air holding the circulation back.

    Garden tap leaking

If it still leaks after tightening, undo the gland nut and put a few turns of ptfe tap around the spindle and push it down. Then retighten the gland nut. :)

moved radiator - now its not getting hot?

Urrrrr! Check that both valves are fully open first, and check if air in rad.

    Gas pipe size

Can't see a problem with his calculations. If you want to keep the mild steel pipe then there is a chance of rust particles floating up and into your nice new boilers gas valve.

Fitting a bath in place of shower tray.

Done it a few times when removal of tiles not an option. I always prefer fitting steel baths rather than acylic - less likely to flex. L brackets can go underneath the bath.

Fitting a bath in place of shower tray.

Not totally necessary to remove any tiles to get a good seal. Fix a couple of 2x1" wood battens along the walls, just under the bath lip. Run a silicone seal all round the batten and sit the bath on top and fix bath to walls to secure. Then run a second silicone seal all around the bath edges to...
