Buying a car online unseen and warranties.

It would have to be a really tin-pot little outfit for it to be worth their while doing that for one car. Anyway, if you pay for any amount on a credit-card, the card company becomes liable for the full amount if you have grounds for a refund.

Unless you have studied the whole route beforehand - which I would never think of doing - how are you going to know that, especiallyt if you are just reacting to "take the next turning left "

    Phone-based mapping/route-finding.

That's happened several times to me as well More or less single -lane roads that would cause real problems as - in England - they do not usually have passing places. Sent down a really narrow road a couple of miles long somewhere near Rye or Hastings as well as some othe roads that I would never...

What are your experiences of using Waze or Google as map-guidance solutions when you are driving ? Several times I have been given completely wrong information i.e. being told I am at my destination when I am two/three miles away or given ridiculous instructions to leave a completely empty...

That was exactly my experience last year with First Line drop-links. Out of curiosity, do they refund you quickly/easily, or give you the run-around ?

    Remote locking.

Potholes ? My experience of French roads is that they are generally very good outside towns: inside towns depends on the local council and, sometimes, they can be poor. Grenoble springs to mind, but they have a very high-profile "Green" mayor and council, so that may be a tactic rather than...

    Oem partnumber?

When I was involved in supplying to manufacturers - Ford, VW etc -it was not permitted to put your company brand/name on the part: suppliers were allocated codes to use. It was also part of the standard contractual terms that you were not allowed to publicly identify your customer , which...

    Range Anxiety

Pointing out the fallacies I see in your argument. What's the spark-plug comment about - or just an abstruse reference to an ICE ?

"In the above video it takes about 7 hours to cover 145 miles. ( Ipswich to Mansfield )" In a BP garage it was 30 minutes and in a Tesco supermarket three hours> Starting out with 20-30 miles IIRC.
