Do I have a gravity system or pumped & is it C/S plan?

Might be worth getting a G3 registered engineer to have a look as the cylinder thermostat has been removed.

Motorized valve stuck in open position.

Yes, seems logical. Probably struggle to get a replacement powerhead (likely failed component) but a quick search suggests some brands are interchangeable with Sunvic. Looking at the screws, I would say the head is removable and the spindle could then be checked.

    Boxing in boiler pipes

No reason, but perhaps there wasn’t enough material?

    Ball valve 300mm arm

Probably better splitting it down and taking the washer to your merchant/diy chain.

No call for central heating - problem solving

Maybe do some voltage testing? Heating on to room stat should be 240vac, room stat to motorised valve and or pump should be 240vac

Horstmann Electronic 7 not supplying 240v

I wouldn't say a common fault, but it does happen. If they're over 20 years old then likely need replacing. Just double check the wiring.

Gone through multiple Mira Thermal Switches

Has the shower head and or hose been replaced at all? Some folk like these fancy looking ball filled types

    Help identifying valve function

Obviously more experienced than I, but why is it not needed just because it's a 3 port?

Why do I get this when using filler?

Seems like it should be a good product. Maybe it's inconsistent with using the roller?

Why do I get this when using filler?

Are you trying to skim a wall? Seems a large area for just filler. What are you using to apply? Also, as above, are you using it too dry?

Did you not get the renovators back?
