Cost for bricking up a small window?

Thanks for the reply. I'm mostly leaning to a repair rather than bricking it up. Shame I bought the bricks 6 months ago!

Cost for bricking up a small window?

Thanks for the reply. But repair is the only way. I don't want this turning into a huge job. I've put a couple of feelers out to see if a brick layer wants to earn £250 for the job.

What do I use to sand walls?

Hi All, I'm going to be repainting all our walls in the house. The majority of them are plaster on brick if that makes any difference. Cost for bricking up a small window?

Thanks people for all the replies. I'm going to try and repair the frame by chopping out the rotten wood, putting new timber in and then use epoxy as £400 - £500 is not in our budget at the moment.

Cost for bricking up a small window?

Wow...more than I thought. Probably best I consider a repair of the rotten timber then?

Cost for bricking up a small window?

That doesn't really bother me as it's around the side of the house.

Cost for bricking up a small window?

No. It's blocked up by kitchen cabinets, worktop and glass splashback. I believe the gap where the window was was boarded up with plasterboard if that helps. Basically, any works need to be done outside only. Nothing inside.

    Is that good or bad?

Cost for bricking up a small window?

Not sure. There's no access to the window from the kitchen side anymore.

Cost for bricking up a small window?

I was thinking about that but keep in mind this window doesn't function anymore and was there before we re-did the kitchen. What about chopping out the rotten timber and replacing that? Is that a viable and fairly simple thing to do?
