How to get 9 inch skirts around bullnose ?

Just to bring the thread to a close from my point of view, I did it like this. I used the sliding bevel to bisect the angle for the mitre.

How to get 9 inch skirts around bullnose ?

Thanks, I’ve seen this product before in YouTube videos. I’ve just had a thought the Plaster at the bottom kicks it out so the skirting boards are not all flushed to the wall making use of this product a little bit tricky but not impossible. I consider my options.

How to get 9 inch skirts around bullnose ?

No, that doesn’t sound like a bad idea. I wonder if it could be done in Plaster of Paris?

How to get 9 inch skirts around bullnose ?

Kerfing it would look the neatest but would it work on such a small radius ? Plus it’s Victorian profile so pretty delicate up at the top of the profile - pic attached to show profile

How to get 9 inch skirts around bullnose ?

Hi all, as the title says how do I get around this bullnose section of wall with 9 inch Victorian profile skirting boards? My first idea would be to mitre the long lengths from the other wall up to the bullnose then a mitre and a small piece diagonally over the bullnose to the next wall and then...

Erecting Fence over boundary wall ?

I’ve just downloaded the title plan and no indication of ownership is present. Furthermore the land registry states that it does not record the exact boundary between 2 properties and there is usually no record of who owns the hedge, wall tree or fence between 2 properties. Wind load is another...

Erecting Fence over boundary wall ?

I’ll find out who has ownership of the wall from the deeds. Have a look around the area and there seems to be many houses that have wooden posts drilled and bolted or screwed into the walls and fences attached to the posts and some horizontals. It’s not practical to concrete posts into the...

Erecting Fence over boundary wall ?

Thanks for the reply. That’s a good point about ownership of the wall. I am not sure regarding height. Total height of the fence shouldn’t exceed. 2 m. Regarding ownership of the wall, if the fence is erected on my side of the wall, does it make any difference? Thank you

Erecting Fence over boundary wall ?

I’m not sure if in the garden is the right place for this post, so please advise if not. I’ve been having some problems with neighbours after moving into a new house. The house next door is a rental comprising of five flats and I’ve had problems with two of the residents already so I’d like to...

Replacing fluorescent light with LED Batten light and adding 2 additional leds

Just an idea the middle light the existing one works correctly, inside the unit There is a connector that allows a total of six wires. I assume so you can loop another light unit off it. Could I not just connect a larger chocolate block connector inside the casing of the light connect and to the...

Replacing fluorescent light with LED Batten light and adding 2 additional leds

I ripped over to the house to get some pictures. The first is obviously the switch the switch wire goes up some conduit and comes out as a single wire. It’s a little bit difficult to see where it goes but it then becomes two wires and I must assume that the second wire is coming out of that...

Replacing fluorescent light with LED Batten light and adding 2 additional leds

Thanks - just getting my head around your second option. Ideally your first would be the best but as you say it depends if the JB can accommodate the wires. Another idea I had but not sure how good it is, is the cut the 2 wires coming from the switch just where the light fitting closest to the...

Replacing fluorescent light with LED Batten light and adding 2 additional leds

Yes it’s just lighting. At the very end of the run there is another junction box that connects to exterior security lights but no sockets on this at all.
