Quick update, thanks Lucid since I turned off “Auto Update Channel List” I haven’t lost any HD channels overnight, that’s 6 nights and counting. Prior to that it had happened 4 times in 10 days so fingers crossed this has fixed it. Thanks again.

Thanks, I have now turned off the “Auto Update Channel List”, I was thinking that I needed to turn off Firmware Updates. I’ll report back with any news. Thanks again.

Needs to be done properly otherwise it will not perform as wanted, the idea of the aluminium spreader plates is to distribute the heat from the plastic pipe over a larger area, this plate needs to be in contact with the floorboards / chipboard. Aluminium plates will perform better than foil...

The aluminium plate / foil needs to be in full contact (no gaps) with the flooring otherwise it won’t work efficiently.

If you want discreet and hard wired have a look at FitcamX range. I have one in my Toyota and previously had one in my Jaguar, they replace the shroud behind the interior mirror and some connect to the electrics by the mirror.

a) It’s the correct replacement. b) There’s much less chance of it leaking in the future. c) Quality has a premium, buy cheap, buy twice.

Don’t use any jointing paste on plastic pipe.

My son is in the process of buying a property in Northern Ireland that has a Viessmann boiler installed, I’m not familiar with Viessmann products. Can anyone help identify the model and offer an opinion as to whether or not they are fairly reliable. Thanks
