    Outside tap fix

Stick a new tap on. Less than a tenner and easier than changing a washer. Get one with check valves and it'll also be compliant. https://www.screwfix.com/p/essentials-outside-tap-with-double-check-valve-15mm-x-1-2-/37241

    Pressure advice

From 1.3 to 1 bar in 4 months is nothing to worry about. Topping up a couple of times a year is not unusual.

Has wrong kW rated boiler been fitted

For stored hot water. Irrelevant in the case of a combi. A combi boiler can only heat up water at a certain rate and one of their disadvantages is that it will take longer to fill a bath than with stored hot water. At this time of year, the incoming water will be very cold so the boiler could...

    External drain off

The innards of the drain off can be removed and replaced so no need to worry about being able to replace the whole thing.

    Syphon/Depth to insert Flush pipe

The flush pipe needs to be inserted far enough so that a good seal can be made. The length of the threads on the bottom of the siphon is about right. A couple of inches or thereabouts.

    Duravit toilet seats - quality

They'll always find a way to wriggle out of a warranty on such items. Not enough cleaning, too much cleaning, wrong cleaning materials, user too heavy, incorrect installation. Unless you can prove a manufacturing fault, I doubt they'd pay up and certainly not after a few years.

    Duravit toilet seats - quality

That's great and TBH I normally nip down to Wickes and get one off the shelf. Unfortunately some "designer" toilets are designed so that universal seats don't fit and you have to pay stupid prices for original stuff. Hopefully at some point it becomes worth it for someone to make a pattern part...

Removing stubborn solder drip from fitting - and a bit of a diy story

Heat the pipe until the solder melts and then wipe off with a DRY cloth. A wet cloth is likely to cool the solder so it sets before being fully wiped off.

    Duravit toilet seats - quality

I had similar issues with a Duravit Starck seat. Yellowed and finally broke. Replaced it with one off Ebay for about £80. Soft close as well. after a couple of years its still bright white. I think the brand was Grunbaltt. I did find on Ebay this morning but the link didn't work for some reason.

    Closed carport flue, plume possibility?

I think the fact that you have already built an enclosed structure around your flue indicates that you have little understanding of correct installation and of the safety standards which qualified installers have to stick to.

Back of worktop in the way for screwbit\hot cold tails of tap any suggestions please?

If properly fixed to wall it should still be ok but extra baton would make sure.

Back of worktop in the way for screwbit\hot cold tails of tap any suggestions please?

Once the base unit is in, it will be supported by the units on either side and where it is screwed back to the wall. The worktop will also help to lock it in position. You will be ok to cut away what's in the way but no harm in adding an extra baton lower down for peace of mind.

    Filling loop

The casting under the spindle is rugby ball shaped and has 2 stops.

    Filling loop

Just had to go out to the van to check. The lever on the double check valve won't turn round but the one on the iso valve is like that on a WM tap and those can be turned.

    Filling loop

Yes. It should be held on by a small screw. Remove the screw, lift off the lever, half a turn and put it back on.

    Filling loop

Take the lever off and turn it round.

Or, for an extra tenner you could do it properly. Your house though so crack on.

    Blanking u bend sink end

You know that are using the wrong fitting so whatever you do will be a bodge. I'm sure you can find something to block the hole but why not do the job properly.
