Are these cables ok to be left like this?

Ok, ok get some terminal boxes. I don’t want to cut a hole out of ceiling to trace them so I’ll just put them in a terminal box Would one of these be suitable? If I decide to use an Wago box instead, Are the cable connectors I’ve used sufficient for the job though? Cheers

Are these cables ok to be left like this?

In my loft I came across 2 cables that are live and just loose ends connected to nothing. They come from below so I’m guessing lighting of some sort for upstairs bedroom. I turned the electricity off, stripped the wires down and pushed the exposed ends into 24A, 400v electrical connectors...

    Struggling to balance tall radiator

Update: I have opened all TRV valves and all lockshields to maximum and all radiators are boiling hot … so I’m just going to leave them as is Maybe because it’s such a small house they all seem to heat up at the same speed

    Struggling to balance tall radiator

I’ve had a new boiler put in (ideal 24w max +) and replaced all my radiators (5 in total - 2 bed terraced house) In my kitchen I have put in a 1800 x 600 double panel radiator The only way I can get it hot all over is to turn off every other radiator and blast water through this one. I...

Plastic 1/2 cover to go onto rad brackets

Installing a flat panel rad Previously in the accessories box they come with plastic bits that sit onto the metal radiator bracket (u shape) This radiator doesn’t come with them Are these essential or can I install rad on metal bracket without issues?

Column rad not heating in all areas

Just installed my new vertical column radiator, plumbed it in, turned CH on It’s warming up but not on all vertical panels I’ve released all air out of the system via the bleed valve (until water coming out) It’s mainly the vertical column directly next to the inlet (TRV) side that’s cold...

Screwing straight through full depth of timber

Hi, I am screwing a bracket to a piece of 30mm deep timber (screwed to wall). Behind the timber there is a little void where the screws will be going (I took out real plugs and screwing to timber instead, so there are rawl plug holes) I don’t have any decent 30mm screws lying around, but I do...

Plasterboard foam adhesive to use on pipework

So would you suggest expanding foam? Or just use more plasterboard adhesive foam than I would if using expanding?

Plasterboard foam adhesive to use on pipework

What’s the difference between clipping pipework to a wall in comparison with clipping it to a skirting board? The flow pipe will only cover a distance of 50cm whereas the return will cover 1.1m. I can’t expect much heat loss?
