why is loss of freedom of movement in eu seen as a big deal

It's a tariff and quota free trade agreement. The requirement to fill out a form does not stop it being a free trade agreement.

    American gangster loots the country.

I'm sure not everybody there killed someone, not everybody there damaged property or injured people. Some people were simply 'there', a bit like the majority of ProPally demonstrators, not everyone attending is inciting hate.

things Trump would rather talk about than Jeffrey Epstein

He does seem pretty sane, also comes across well in briefings and press conferences. The lady journos at the press conferences often ask him to answer at least one question in Spanish, seems to get them all a flutter. I think he was an early contender against Trump. Although I quite like...

The Cuban Revolution was caused by widespread political corruption, economic inequality, U.S. influence, and social unrest under Fulgencio Batista’s dictatorship. things Trump would rather talk about than Jeffrey Epstein

I'd be interested to know how bad things really are in Cuba. I read last week that 1 million people have fled Cuba since 2021, 3/4 of them to the US, mainly Southern Florida. Cuba have rejected offers of aid from the US but I'm not seeing much background to any stories.

House price gravy train may have hit the buffers

My mum went mad when she found out I'd paid five quid for my first pair of Levi's (I think that's how much they were), she couldn't get her head around the fact that I could have had 10 pairs from Tesco for that price.
