    Mould prevention

There can't be cavity, I haved drilled deep enough for tv arm brackets and not hit that soft spot when drilling through, the soft bit is the plaster and then drilling is a nightmare, hammer drilling and tough drill bit! Yeah, no clothes drying upstairs and I put the extractor fan on longest...

    Mould prevention

Thanks johns!, its a lesson for me listening to you guys! the walls are very very cold in winter but then why would the mould just form only in places rather than smothering an entire wall i.e. At the bottom just above the skirting with the corners being worse? Also, when I moved in I noticed in...

    Mould prevention

As before, my walls are solid concrete breeze blocks type. You can't put cavity wall insulation in them. Even channeling in a light switch is a major 'chiselling' and plastering exercise! No Leaks or overspills, the outside of the house is in good condition. Looking up mould resistant paint...

    Mould prevention

The wall is south facing but it might as well face north, it gets buffeted by the wind and rain compared to the north side and yes its always cold, freezing in winter and cool in summer. The upstairs is the standard 3 bedroom, bathroom, landing type so no washing etc. The bedroom is always the...

No, in the second picture that darker green bit is the freshly laid turf, the bit in question. There used to be decking there so i ripped up the old decking with the intent of turfing the entire lawn but couldnt afford it so i thought id just laid some new turf where the decking was. The rest of...
