    Burnham the new PM

Back on topic... just 9 freedom days remain before King Andy becomes our unelected supreme leader. Make the most of it, life may never be the same again. There's still time to get savings offshore.

Nigel’s statement. Resigning as MP. Forcing a by-election. Will stand again.

Farage first published a photo of the house, presumably in the context of him owning it, I assume before his daughter lived there. A newspaper then published a photo of the same house, stating that his daughter lived there, making her a target Sky News then doorstepped her, uninvited and...

Nigel’s statement. Resigning as MP. Forcing a by-election. Will stand again.

There's some truth in that. Extremes of either ends up with intolerance, silencing debate and locking people up. e.g. this current government.

I must be confusing you with someone else. In which case I deeply apologise for my accidental horrific insult. I wouldn't like to be accused of living in Hull either, I shouldn't throw such appalling accusations about so casually.

    Is this quote expensive?

£230 sounds totally fair to me. However, this sounds like a workaround for a problem that probably shouldn't exist. What height below the DPC is the patio? If it's close or even above it then you're fixing a minor side issue, not solving the actual problem.

Broken clay gully/trap - What to replace it with?

Your plastic pipes will be fine. The clay pipe is the weak link, the 70 year old ones I took out here were about as strong as a biscuit. Make sure it has at least 100mm of 10mm gravel over it.

    More allegations against Farage

Watch out, he's probably baiting you to give this sort of response so he can report you. Just use the forum Ignore tool on him, the place is far more pleasant this way. https://www.diynot.com/diy/members/king-billy.325994/ Just click the Ignore button near the top. Job done.

Nigel’s statement. Resigning as MP. Forcing a by-election. Will stand again.

I hope Farage can gracefully step aside, hand over his party to his colleagues and that Reform and Restore can settle their differences and merge for the greater good. He can always be party chairman or something. The lefties will be very annoyed when they eventually work out that Farage was a...

Nigel’s statement. Resigning as MP. Forcing a by-election. Will stand again.

A space alien rubbish bin has far more chance in an election than the Labour party. With the rare exception of the one case where voting Labour would remove the universally hated Labour Prime Minister.

    More allegations against Farage

Age is a big factor. The dead parrot sketch was old decades ago! I don't think anyone's proven that anyone else is a foreign agent.

Broken clay gully/trap - What to replace it with?

That looks about 10x better than the prototype! It will be fine. Not ideal, but fine. Stand the gully on a brick, then pack up with tiles, packers or whatever to get just the right height and level. Then put a couple of bricks on top to hold it down. You need concrete under the gully. For...

Nigel’s statement. Resigning as MP. Forcing a by-election. Will stand again.

Sadly the loony lefties aren't running. It's Nigel vs a bin.

    More allegations against Farage

I'd like to add that I have no knowledge of the Barbara WIndsor reference, and was born and bred here far too many years ago. It was a very oblique, weird reference. I reckon 1% would have got it.

Using the word "trolling" is usually trolling.

Nigel’s statement. Resigning as MP. Forcing a by-election. Will stand again.

I completely accept that a significant minority of the British public are stupid enough to think that voting Labour is a good idea. I don't agree with them, but accept that they will do this. Mainly because most of them are on benefits so are voting entirely for self-interest and don't care...

    More allegations against Farage

Farage got less than 50% last time. This time everyone anti-Farage will vote Binface, plus a few more who've got annoyed with him since last election, plus a load more who didn't vote last time but think it will be a laugh to elect a bin. Farage intended to be the anti-establishment candidate...

Nigel’s statement. Resigning as MP. Forcing a by-election. Will stand again.

Voters are the masters of the politicians, not the servants. They think whatever they like, nobody has the right to tell anyone they're voting wrong. Does your home front door have a lock? Do you use it? Why?

    More allegations against Farage

Binface will win. Seriously. I don't think even he realises this yet... A good YouTube comment... He should call his party Refuse.
