    all must be wired. there isnt usually much space to wire them and they can be a pain in the arse. can you not pull some wire down, wire it and then push excess back up?

    FWIW - i would not apply too much diversity to a cooker circuit, otherwise you get problems at xmas etc when everything on the cooker is on

    1: alarm wiring itsself does not come under part P. just the wiring to the panel will if its either got a new circuit or its in a special location you should try and keep alarm and power cables seperate. at least 50mm to avoid interferance. more noticable in phone lines than alarms tho, but...
