The only thing I would suggest is not to clad it with wood. You are just making work for the future to maintain it. Have you ever seen an old shed that still looks good years later. To me cladding is just another passing fashion. Get the brickie to point it properly.

My local independant. garage has the same policies as yours but an awfully lot cheaper. Plus they let me supply oil and filters or any other parts that need replacing.It saves. them hassle and I always buy oil that is price reduced in Tesco so have a stock.
