50`s internal pipes would usually have been lead or iron/steel cant think of any houses predating mid 60`s that i have worked in that had copper internals

LOGIC 35 so a combi so will be sized for HW on a like for like 35 it drops down to 7.5kw the 30 drops to 6.4kw

Sounds like the fast blow fuse in the actual boiler has blown then

righthand button on boiler press it see if that makes any difference check / replace the fuse in the switch besides the clock . 3amp Your clock is in the off position make sure its calling for heat
