    Tumble dryer rear bush advice

Item 423 is the whole rear metal panel Why would I change that. It’s to expensive to do that & that doesn’t explain why the bearing has failed. The rear metal cover just has a hole in it which the drum spindle passes through. Just can’t see why you advised that ???

    Tumble dryer rear bush advice

There is the main plastic cover that hides all behind. I remove the 2 screws then i see a circlip through the end of the drum shaft. I remove circlip & pop off a circulare metal part like a wine gum sweet. Once that is removed i can then just pull off this peardrop part

    Tumble dryer rear bush advice

When you say bearing isn’t that the grass part that Ive changed. The rear of the drum has a shaft which then fits into this bush.

    Main Circuit breaker tripped

So this morning I thought let’s just try & switch the breaker on first & see what happens. My plan was to then separate the 2 red wires. I switched it on & fine. I operated the light & worked fine. At that point I had left it a while & no issues So last night with the small amount of light...

    Main Circuit breaker tripped

Regarding post 10 here is the main consumer unit. The last one on the right was I believe in the middle position. I’m sure I moved it down then all the way up to the position you see now. I didn’t touch anything else.

    Main Circuit breaker tripped

With regards post 8 yes this one in the off position makes it trip. This is why I have left it in the off position. In the morning when it’s light I will remove the 2 red wires from the switch & separate them & advise what happens.

There is no button. It’s just a on / off item. When you say separating do you mean remove light switch. 1 red wire in 1 choc bloc block & then the other 2 in there own choc block. Please advise thanks. Also advise what I mentioned about earth wire.

As per title main circuit breaker tripped. I reset it at main consumer unit but same again. I switched off each individual breaker if that’s what you call it. I then switched on each 1 at a time until it tripped again. I have now electric on apart from the lighting in my spare room so this...
