    If the insulation in your loft is deep, maybe you've added more insulation recently, the house will be warmer but you've now made the loft colder and more likely to get condensation in there as the warm air enters the loft and hits a cold surface.

    The tiles are on a brick gable but house is over 70 years old so would of thought not to do with settlement by now plus my brother told me same happened on other side of gable and the battens had been cut short. Sorry I haven't any more images.
