Well done England. Managed to watch the first half then needed to hit the sack.

    Taylor Swifts wedding.

To be fair, we have thee ONLY celeb we'll ever need right here on this forum ... ... HIGHWAY MAN I have it on VERY good authority that Taylor actually wanted to marry HIM!

    Taylor Swifts wedding.

Not sure if it's something to do with me getting older and becoming ever more like the character Victor Meldrew, but I have almost zero interest in all the celeb stuff. I was never that into it anyway, even less so these days. Having said that, I don't knock folk who live and breathe what...

U turn. https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-15951871/Labour-Migrant-asylum-seekers-priority-veterans-250-000-newbuild-homes.html 'A Home Office spokesperson said: 'New homes should never house asylum seekers. The Home Secretary has directly intervened to stop migrants being moved into the...

    Come On England

Here's a flip question for you, answer honestly ;) If England were eliminated from the competition but Scotland were still in (ok I know, unlikely, but go with it!) would you be supporting Scotland? I'm probably a rare breed up here. I obviously want Scotland to do well in these comps...

Good proactive policing, or big brother?

    You couldn’t make it up.

Something else we should be ensuring is that our approval process is tighter. It's easy for government to say x number are being fed through the review process and approved if the approval essentially consists of a few questions and then the rubber stamp saying 'approved'.

    You couldn’t make it up.

As has already been touched on in this thread, as for this one, we're powerless to deport him apparently. What a fecking joke we've become, when a piece of sh1t like this can't be chucked out...

    New Asylum Seeker Housing Plans

Nope. They were saying those already here awaiting a decision could be working, so they're contributing. Not referring to highly skilled ones that come in via legal routes. Nice try.

    New Asylum Seeker Housing Plans

I'll say again, there's something very strange going on. A few weeks back on a tv prog like QT or similar, they mentioned two things IN THE SAME PROGRAMME! 1. We have many UK born folk unemployed and they need supported back into work. 2. We need the migrants to fill job vacancies. Eh...

    New Asylum Seeker Housing Plans

I've said numerous times we should have thrown a few billion at having a much stricter process for those arriving illegally. More coastal patrols, significant building of basic, clean, safe accommodation (e.g. on ex military sites) to house them until their claim is concluded. And if the claim...

Reluctance to grant the full mortgage amount

I fixed my own property on a 5 year, and two of my BTLs. Ridiculously low interest rates. Oh how I wish I'd fixed them all for 10, they're all coming off their fixed terms this year :(

Does anyone know how Harry's getting on, don't think he's been on here in a while? He was going in for an op/procedure?

    Brazil v Japan

I probably shouldn't tell you this, however a friend of a friend of a third cousin of a friend I know works in the England camp. Apparently, Tuchel wanted you in the team, however Kane threw a strop and said 'If he comes in, I go out, he'll show all of us up, especially me!'

    New Asylum Seeker Housing Plans

Make it mandatory that all camps, houses, hotels, wherever they are housed, are located slap bang in the middle (or as near as possible) of the top 100 postcode areas of the country in terms of property value.

Why aren't we building more prisons?

Eh? What?!? It should be both. And for many crimes, the sentence should be the sentence.

Why aren't we building more prisons?

This was mentioned on the telly box the other day i.e. the plan for further early prisoner releases. https://www.lbc.co.uk/article/thousands-killers-rapists-sex-offenders-early-release-5HjdcBd_2/ Example: The changes to the early-release scheme will see prisoners jailed for a total of 15...
