It looks like it could be a shock/magnetic contact combined sensor, on whoch case the red would indicate the shock sensor. This doesn't help with the tamper fault though. Can u post a picture of the pcb?
The red light signifys that the reed switch is open. If u put it next to the magnet it should go green. Can the fault on the keypad be reset when both tamper switches pressed?
2k2 is fine, tamper should clear when there is no movement in the room. 8k8 is too high should be 6k9 OC. Could try taking the jumpers off and fitting 2k2/4k7 resistors in the terminals
What he's saying is that there is a video showing u how to reset the code on texecoms own youtube channel. Not very professional behaviour if u ask me.
You will need to identify the wiring for the zone that has been removed and disconnect it from the global tamper circuit. Assuming this is the only tamper fault currently present then the system should then reset.
