    Yes and yes. Why no use two isolating valves and then you can easily re-connect the radiator and will just need to pressurise the boiler after bleeding.

    It's bad practise to have an immersion fitted with a plug as the plug or pins will likely overheat.

    Are you sure the immersion has a plug on it ? (top pic) The second pic is the thermostat that controls the hot water temperature.

    Or just change the ceramic disc for £3 as above after removing the cartridge.Some of them cartidges can be expensive.

    2 years ago when i checked it on the DVLA website it said,not sorn,not taxed and not insured. Now it does not exist and i wondered if personalised plates expired after a certain time if not retained ? and that is why it does not exist ? The owner has gone into care.

    The leak will not be there but probably higher up around the white nut.Whipe it all dry and then run the shower and feel around the nut for water.
