I must be if people respond positively.

    Enamel for alloy wheel?

Not quite. But the final solution is at hand. The bead seat that was disrupted by corrosion must be flattened, filled, and repainted. The bead sealant will be suitable, but not not in the way you know. The sealant must be cured before tyre mounting. Relying on the uncured sealant to hit all the...

    Enamel for alloy wheel?

Fork it. I will do painting another time. This is a spare "donut" that I may never actually use. I will sand flat and use bead sealer instead. The sealer will also be needed for my regular wheel when I open it up to replace the leaking valve. Pulling the valve out by hook is a no go because the...

    Enamel for alloy wheel?

Yes, I really really want to do it. I like to go for final solutions that's good for lifetime. I have no pin holes, only corrosion bumps. Have you used etch priming that overlaps existing paint? Any bad reactions? I said spot repair. No blasting is needed.

    Enamel for alloy wheel?

Having gained access to an aluminum alloy rim, I noticed various corrosion bubbles in the tyre bead areas. I am thinking of spot repairing them by sanding flat and painting. Anyone ever used brushable enamel for this kind of repair? Any recommendations for paint? Since the repair areas are...

    Tyre valve stem leak

I would definitely confirm this using my latest china acquisition. But bummer, it had a leak. Unless the accurate measurement is read quickly, it is lost. Having just taken it apart, I regret being hasty and giving the seller a bad score. The leak was probably from the parts not being tightened...

    Tyre valve stem leak

My tyres last 10+ years. Getting ripped a new valve is not something that enters my mind. If this thread succeeds, they will rip me no more. In all my tyre buying, the price was all inclusive. So, I never felt ripped because by the time I go for it, I would be happy with the price already. You...

    Tyre valve stem leak

Not nonsense. Fully inflated shapes differently to partial inflated. May be my senses are just sharper. Nothing I can do for you. I took one look at tyre and knew shop playing with me. Naturally, confirmation steps were taken.

    Tyre valve stem leak

I am not in hurry, you are. To relieve your desperation, I suggest you say what it is. This thread is not just for me but for the internet. This is a chance for you to earn credibility from people. So far you have contributed nothing, and nobody is impressed. I am trying to help you to get the...

    Tyre valve stem leak

Anyway, project delayed. My tyre irons got cancelled by the seller. Given the unusual size of them, I am suspecting a scam of some sort. I have now ordered 24 inch ones for the same amount of money. Without the flat bars, there's no way to move this project forward. The flatness distributes the...
