    Tiles are not the problem , it’s the grout between which is often porous letting moisture thru . So the background is very important .In my experience EVERY tiled plasterboard shower enclosure I have removed had heavy water damage . The forum has many posts about failure of tiles on plasterboard .

    But they are usually too dumb to know how to use anything more complicated than a vape . Camera can use a memory cards so are independent of WiFi . External cameras should be out of reach of burglars and backed up by internal cameras , ideally hidden .

    Honeycomb core panels (panneaux en nid d'abeille) are widely used in France , possibly what you have . No reason for a shower curtain to encourage mould if room has adequate ventilation .

    It’s intended for use at low level , with care. Heavy soaking of an unprotected plasterboard (drywall) with soon allow water through grout ( it’s not waterproof) . If you want to use as a shower a 360 shower curtain is needed to protect from splashing . One example of 360 rail .

    Currently you have a holder on the wall , it’s just there so you have a flexible shower head to wash your hair etc. It’s not intended for use as a shower , while the one you intend to use is a waterfall style fitted overhead which will splash in all directions when in use .

    If it’s tiles where you need to fix then the tiles will provide enough support to hold any shower rail. But changing it to that rail will increase the water hitting a wall not designed for a shower leading to early failure .

    It’s not intended for structural use hence the need for a steel or aluminium frame . For twin gates I like a timber spanning posts to provide additional strength and offer a second anchor point . Depends what you are using gates for .
