    Soakaway for new Condensate Boiler.

Thanks for reply, sorry for lateness of mine. The backdoor is in between the boiler and sink, so yes that could be done but the pipe would have to go up and over. So a pump would again be required. If I'm having concerns about a soakaway, it looks like a pump may be unavoidable. Could maybe...

Its more the water in the soakaway causing an issue with the property, that's my concern.

    Most secure backdoor for house?

Something to consider. Semis built in the 30's, were not really designed with steel doors in mind. Woth that in mind, what were the doors of the properties originally? Heavy wood? If so, perhaps that would be a step up over a modern backdoor, in terms of security. Would like to keep a...

    Most secure backdoor for house?

Good advice. Yes its part of a package. So far I've replaced the exsisting fence that borders off the driveway with a high fence and gate. Combined with a better backdoor, security light and cameras, plus a gate on the shared driveway, that should help secure the back.

"Another benefit of using a soakaway is reducing acidic residue within the system. Thereby extending the boiler’s lifespan and ensuring that the central heating system works well throughout." https://www.boilercentral.com/boiler-advice/boiler-condensate-pipe/

    Most secure backdoor for house?

I'd like to upgrade the backdoor for a more secure backdoor. The property was actually broken into while it was on the market, shortly befor purchase. The intruders deatched or broke the botton panel of the door, leaving the upper glass pane intact. What would be a more secure type of door...

    Soakaway for new Condensate Boiler.

We will be replacing our old Worcester 28CDI, for a Worcester 4000 shortly. Have been trying to workout what would be the best way to deal with the condensate waste. The installer has given a couple of options. The boiler is in the kitchen, but the kitchen drain is outside of another wall. So...
