that’s the old traps, they’ve changed them now. Very rarely have any problems sealing them. The new ones you can take the trap out of the housing. The odd thing is if I swap the trap from another shower and put the problem one in the other shower it works. And if I take the bottle of the trap...

These are brand new never used traps. Found out when testing.

The claw shaped bit that hooks over the latch is sticking. When I shut the door it just bounces unless I physically push it up into the correct position. Is it repairable?

Sorted, I just drilled two 6 mm holes and it gave me enough wiggle room to fit them. Already had the handles, 32 of them and I’m too tight to buy more (y)

Got some new kitchen handles. The old ones are 155mm centres, the new ones are 160 centres. I was thinking of drilling a bigger hole and getting some black m5x15mm washers to hide the old hole (see pic). Or is there another way?

Nudge the radiator a smidge to the left or right. It might just be rubbing on the brackets as it’s expanding/contracting.

Take the head off the trv, spray the pin with WD40 and use some grips to push/pull the pin out.

I always ignore, copy number and paste into “who called me” website. It tells you if the number is ‘dangerous’, ‘neutral’ or ‘safe’. Then I block them. Got literally hundreds of blocked numbers.

Rear door latch rusted, freed it up with wd40 but it’s not catching/locking. Is this connected to a cable from the handle in the pic?

Anyone used a tool to tighten basin traps inside tight peds ? Getting on a bit and struggling to get them tight enough with my massive arthritic hands.

Yeah vents clear, rail is 2000 btu’s and rooms only 2.5 m/2. Got a louvre grill on the outside and it looks like the fan struggles to lift the flaps so wedged them open and still crap, hence the thinking stronger fan needed.
