Best product for leaking shed roof

Thank you to everyone who's replied. So, we've looked into EPDM, and although that's probably best, it is also a bigger and more expensive job. So we've gone for Siramico liquid rubber which feels more do-able for us. Currently prepping roof for that, getting loose bitumen off etc. When today's...

Now we've got ivy off, can see the old bitumen is all cracked and you can just peel it up, back to the old original concrete. Freddiemercurystwin, are you saying take the concrete roof off entirely?

Tetrarch, pretty sure it's bitumen on concrete. Photo attached. Currently in middle of pulling off ivy.

Thanks. We're not thinking of patching, will be putting liquid rubber across whole roof. Or do you see this as patching and felting is really the best? Sorry if this is a daft question. No experience with any of this.

Wasn't thinking of felting because it's a flat roof and wasn't sure how to ensure no leaks between felt strips

Best product for leaking shed roof

Hi, we have a leaking shed roof. Put bitumen on it years ago but leaking again now. We're thinking of Siramico liquid rubber as it's only one coat. Most of the reviews on it are about ease of application etc but what I'm really interested in is longevity. Does anyone have experience of putting...

Hi, my elderly mother enjoys a lot of TV programmes that clash and therefore does a lot of recording to be able to see all of them. Her TV is connected to a Humax PVR (as well as a VHS/DVD player). It's not a smart TV and she's had all of the equipment for about 15 years. What she normally...

Problems with digital display on automatic VW Polo

Thanks to everyone who's replied. Every response has helped on learning curve and have had a useful discussion with people at ECU Testing Heanor. Will update if any significant developments.

Problems with digital display on automatic VW Polo

Ok, thanks. Difference of opinion now between me and husband, would appreciate views! Husband (who doesn't drive) says: it's an old car, it might just be the display showing its age, it's not interfering with the performance of the car, I can drive with a line running through the P, D, R etc...

Problems with digital display on automatic VW Polo

Thanks for this. Do you have any idea of likely cost for repair and you say "companies" rather than garage - is the loose edge connector and/or display showing its age too specialised for a local general garage?

Problems with digital display on automatic VW Polo

Hi, a couple of months ago, when I was driving, the digital display went on my 2006 automatic VW Polo - no clock, no mileage etc. Then further into the journey, not long after, it all came back. This particular issue has not happened again. However, what is more or less permanently happening now...

    Help! Dropped upvc door

Hi, thanks for this. 1. So you're confirming that the screws ringed in the first photo are grub screws (2 per hinge? This is what we didn't understand. Normally there only seems to be one per hinge) 2. Is there a difference in function between the top and bottom pins on our hinges? Cheers

    Help! Dropped upvc door

Our old upvc front door is out of alignment and drops downwards towards the handle side and will only lock if you lift it by the handle at the same time. We know we need to adjust the hinges but not sure how to do this with the hinges we've got. Haven't seen any photos or videos with exactly the...
