    Flexible meter tails help with routing. The aren't as bendy as tri-rated, but they are a lot more bendy than traditional tails. Oh for double-insulated/insulated-and-sheathed tri-rated...

    They can go straight on the wall, but it can be easier wrt the fixings needed to fix a board to the wall, and then the electrical equipment to the board, particularly if the wall is uneven.

    I haven't seen mine for a while, but I am confident that I haven't thrown it away. Mine definitely had a 13A on the face. Shutters & sleeved pins? Can't remember. But given its age the 2pin sockets would have been for BS546 shaver plugs, not CEE 7/16 Europlugs.
