Got this all working now and have a few final questions. Balancing out the CH this weekend. I have salus auto balancing valves for the UFH, so can't see a need to balance the UFH itself. But... Do I need to balance the UFH against the CH in some way to make sure their flows are "equal and...

So in theory the wired hive could replace the salus', but would need batteries to be changed often as the only con. Agree wireless would be very busy!

It seems the wired salus setup i have van connect to thw salus hub and an online app. So probably no need to replace that with wireless stats and centre. (Anyone know if I'm wrong about this?) If (in the future) I went hive for each UFH zone. It makes sense, if I went hive wired. I could just...

Yeah that was my initial thought to get it all in the same brand, and getting the salus hub would mean UFH and CH become app/internet controllable. But above posts made me think a different route ..

No salus rad stat currently. Only have the salus wiring centre and sq610 for the UFH zones (wired) Might go hive or Tado now for the CH...

What would you use instead for the UFH zones (if/when these fail). I expect I can't use single channel hives for each of those 5 ufh zones?

Yep that's the one. So should I send a perm live into one of the holes too? And use one wire out to the valve/pump?

Seems Volto free. How would the two wires work from it? One wire in is perm live, then one wire out is that live out so to speak...

Pasting Madlabs post from other thread: You wiring is wrong, you don't send perm lives to the 2 ports otherwise they would just stay open all the time. You don't need to use the boiler output at all either, unless it's being used to power a central wiring centre. The permanent power normally...

So I have 1. Ufh wiring centre, salus 2. Ufh wired sq610 stats for each room, salus - they seem to be programmable I was intending to get for the CH (because I could make it all salus and online controllable): and remove the current timer built into the boiler - but I am open to alternatives...

Don't need to keep it if it simplifies things. Happy for stats to control everything, if a programmer isn't needed... (Guess it's only needed for CH?)

Smart phone when out and about if possible. I do however have the salus controller and thermostats for UFH, so a bit stuck with those. What's so dire about them?
