As above try moving fan blades I'd also be checking oil pumps not tight . Also known for pump side motor bearing to be tight. I'm certainly not a fan of the digital control box either seen them fail after seized pump/motor.

Not much point altering the drops to 15mm without taking them right back to wherever they start. Is your 10mm a manifold system or reduced tees? Is existing rad a double or single. I assume you have a tank feed system?

That doesn't look to be an original part . Difficult to know what going on . Id Just change it look for Riello pressure gauge extension they come with a new O ring.

Look for Heating world of spares. Search on there for Worcester diverter valve. They have correct part in stock. The one above will not do. That boiler requires a diverter valve Most 3 ports are mid position valves work differently.

Or just get shut of Y plan valve (it will fail) and do S plan +.

Very rarely full valve just the head But if you get completely valve try changing head first then if necessary change the lot. They can be err interesting to change!

If you do change the power head you must use the correct one. Search with numbers on your existing valve. The head for the more common V4073A will not do.

You need the instalation instructions they are available on line if you don't have them. The 3 port valve are known to fail you must use correct replacement. That old model uses relays that are also known to fail. You need a multimeter and boiler instalation manual and follow the flow chart.

Whilst current trv's are bi directional occasionally you get one that's noisy when closing. I'd be betting it's on return side of rad. Just change it and move on.

Not the best job on earth! Just get a couple of 15mm compression cones short end of 15mm copper and replace damaged section. Maybe a couple of wraps of ptfe on cones before assembly.

That's the flow switch The 3 port diverter valve sits above the pump Grey plastic head . Which model heatslave? (Not the output) They have made quite a number! Has yours got green plastic on front panel?
