    cat 8 cable?

Cheers for the replies folks. BAS i agree with what you said 100% about people being in awe of newer technology. I really do think this is whats going on here. As i said before the bloke who's house it will be is apparently an I.T. specialist. In my personal opinion it's just someone...

    cat 8 cable?

Cheers for the replies. We thought a typo too but got in touch with the contractor and they assured us it's cat8 they need. The bloke who's house this is going to be is apparently an IT specialist and he's wanting to future proof it! I've been googling it and it does seem to exist but...

    Some pics from P.I.R.

I'm just learning at the min so the boss was the one who suggested the re-wire. We struggled to get any readings at all. Infact the lights were about the only thing that were even remotely safe! Every socket we looked at had melted wires or were burnt out! This was how the house was left...

    Some pics from P.I.R.

No idea. Carpets etc were lifted when we went in so not sure if something external burnt it. In saying that every socket had serious problems so who knows. Supply was taken out of house due to the state of it  Recommended a re-wire but client seems to think a couple of new...
