earth sleeving-check brown sleeving-nope, better get some. 20mm gromits-check left switch has 3 terminals right dimmer has 3 terminals too. gunna pop down to toolstation tomorrow morning and i should be set to finish this job...thanks for all your help everyone.

yep ..on rereading his post i saw that same thing. just wasnt 100% sure. and it seemed a good price but then what do i know...i hardly ever buy cable lol thanks flameport...thats handy as we have just had a toolstation open up near to us...wahooo lol
