    Gable verge pointing

Doing fascias and guttering and tried getting the Eaves trays on....just crumbled like fudge. I'll be filling in the gaps as I'm a DIY'er. Is there a particular method to removing tiles (shown) to get eaves trays on? feels like buddy hard work to get them off at the moment. I'm working at...

Yeh, and it was ****...like jelly and didn't bond enough to the fascia.

    Fascia & Soffit work

Yes, it's possible to do that but it slants at the difference in the batten and bottom of existing fascia. It looked a bit heath Robinson when I've done the back of the garage. Not too bothered about two storeys up though.

    Fascia & Soffit work

Sorry I apologise, I've not given the whole story as I'm rushing around. I originally ordered normal soffit but have now gone with Hollow to tounge and groove it. Reason being it's lighter and I wasn't sure normal soffit would sit in the trim weight wise. So I'll be using hollow soffit...

    Soudal glue

Thanks, maybe I'll seek an alternative. 2 hours bonding is a bit too long. it was more to ensure it's in place right.

    Fascia & Soffit work

Still not sure I want to do the soffits this way on the roof of my house, drilling in it a pain in the arse and I'll need to do an awful lot of it for the four sides of the property. Should I just put screwed battens down between existing batten on the wall side and the existing soffit ?

    Soudal glue

Wow, this stuff instantly cured when doing some testing with it. Worries me tad I won't have any working time with it. Do you need to use the activator with it? It seemed to not be instant cure and bit workable without it. OR do I need to know what I'm doing for once lol.

    Fascia & Soffit work

Hi, I have just started a project to cap over existing on my property. I've ordered capping fascia and normal soffit so far. I've begun doing some learning on the garage thats attached and accessible so I've done a gable side of my garage and now doing the back of the garage but it appears...

    Fence Leaning. Uncertain of Responsibility.

I had this issue of ownership after the last big storm. I thought it was a shared fence as my post end was connected to his fence run.... He thought different and he had already waved the deeds that apparently exist in front of me the Minute I went round to let them know It was down. Overall...

    Bath tap replacement

I need to change over an old mixer/shower head on the bath. The bath is original for the house so nearly 20 years old. Are distances between holes likely to be suitable for tap sets available today?

    New Mower Time

Hopefully worth the flaff of charging. Only reservation is they don't do low 10mm cuts, not sure why that is on a lot of them? I have got maki tools but wasn't sure the mower would be any cop without a roller.

    New Mower Time

Just gone with a Battery mower as im sick of getting the extension lead out and lawn size doesn't warrant a petrol. Gone for a Worx one.

    Laying solid base

I've posted about minor amounts of water after the big rainfall last week. I intended to sort the area as its a bit of a dead area around a raised bed I put in. I'd like to build a more level base with Type1 and then shingle on top in this area and around the bed. Will the drainage issues...

    1.8m wide fence panels

Is the gap definitely 1.80 with the slots. I've made the mistake of replacing wood ones with the same and have a shortfall. I'd say the previous panels got cut down, Shouldn't be too much effort to do with a circular saw.

    Concrete fence posts

Do you mean put a batten in then use fence clips on the batten like you would on a wood post ? I need to reduce a gap to an old post so think I could do this to help.
