You asked similar in 2017 and at the time mk still sold there neons, maybe now they also have an led version. It may be easier to find a brand that does use leds and remove from an accessory. We replace a lot of damaged bg sockets, they have a light on. Next time I do one I will break open...

    Correctly wired LED dimmer?

The dimmers shown and the one you intend purchasing appear to be 60w minimum load. Your 6 spotlights are unlikely to meet that requirement unless for led loads the dimmer rating is different.

Because of the nature of the premises the temperatures a tad average than normal though nothing drastic. The cable is well marked...

    1.5" fluorescent tube fittings

Do not really underrstand the question . Tri phosphor tubes would be T8 and a 1.5 inch tube would be T12, both of these use the SAME bipin fitment, unless your fittings are from the 1960's. where you may have needed a BC to Bipin adaptor. Whether T8 works in the T12 is down to the control...

Told I need to have Ze checked, an R1+R2 test, and possibly downrate a 40A fuse to 32A - any way to save money here?

Could he have meant the risk of injury by electricution to the client is less, due to having the rcd protection. With a high Ze an rcd protected circuit is more likely to go off under fault than a mcb protected circuit, would it not
