    John williams wallpaper

As long as the walls are prepped properly and /or cross lined, you shouldn't have a problem. A ready mixed adhesive will slow the job down a bit but it will be better in the long run. Wipe every joint with a damp cloth and use a seam roller as well. Keep the joints tight but not overlapped.

Im presuming the stain you are using is water based, this will not stop any stains coming through. An oil based primer / sealer will be needed first.

Rubbery Paint on Wall That's Bubbled and Peels off Like Latex

There's a possibility that the wall was primed with PVA first, which might be why its coming off so clean. PVA is a big No No anywhere near painted surfaces. Your going to have to try and get off what will come off and sand everything.

How to get glitter in paint for walls?

You need a certain amount per litre. Pour in and stir for quite a while. I used some in some grey silk finish earlier this year. It did work to my surprise :). You have to keep stirring the paint to make sure it doesn't settle to the bottom of the tin.

    Stripped wallpaper. What next?

When everything is dry to a nice pink colour you need to apply a mist coat. This is a thinned down coat of white contract matt emulsion. Contract matt has no PVA in it so this will adhere to the plaster and let it breathe also. Once dry a gentle rub down, check any filling and then on with full...

    Stripped wallpaper. What next?

Its doubtful that the insulated board contains asbestos. Plastering is not an easy task to learn quickly. I am self taught and can do a decent job, but ive watched plasterers on site and buildings ive worked in. You learn far more watching a tradesman and asking questions than you will ever...
