Murray. What IS wrong with the bloke?

Murray was getting it before the referendum.

    Thanks for nothing Scotland!

And yet the oil will likely continue for some time and as such will still make up for the perceived shortfall. My comment was aimed purely at EddieM's clearly uneducated stab and twist. If the "south" feel aggrieved by the 20% that they have imposed on themselves by putting those public...

Murray. What IS wrong with the bloke?

Damned if you or don't as a Scotsman in the public eye. Can't remember an Englishman being ****ed over for loving his country of birth and saying so in public. The usual double standards apply...nothing new for the minorities.

    Thanks for nothing Scotland!

All of it taken out of the same budget and higher taxes per head anyway....hmmm ok.

    Scottish independence.

I don't believe the Barnett gives us any more back than we pay in if the tax figures are to be believed. If it is a NO I can't see the YEs camp taking it graciously, it will cause divisions for years and the next few months the TV will not be worth watching for moaners going on about...

    Scottish independence.

And if it happens I want rid of a central belt government the minute it starts......why replace one government miles from me that doesn't give a **** for another? Due to our geographical location we will likely be entitled to a large chunk of the precious black gold.....possibly all of it if...

    Scottish independence.

Presumably it includes the bit of the North Sea that is part of English waters. Can't disagree with the rest of it. There is so much **** being bandied around about how rich Scotland is. Can't wait for the ref to be done and stop seeing this crap on every screen and forum I look at...

    Headlight Modification

Not impossible to be able to turn the lamp gubbins to LHD. Older BMW's had this in the 80's, E30's, E32's and E34's certainly did.

Baxi back boiler & gas fire service costs

Two hours is slow.....I used to do them in under an hour. Maybe I should be phoning Guinness World Records.

Well lets hope neither of us find out. I have a rather handy stick to use on them if it ever does happen though.

Possibly true about not specifically stipulating MOT but you and I both know the questions that will be asked if you have a crash on your way to an MOT. I do it quite a lot with Motorbikes and cars and it's not something I ever want to happen to me. I could forsee quite a lot of...

Not Heard of This New One

I buy a reasonable amount of cars a year, less and less as the good old ones disappear though. My concern is the hassle of obtaining tax on a vehicle I have just bought. If I travel 500 miles to view a car and find it not to be a dog and buy it, how do I tax it? Is the tax automatically...

Just to clarify your misconception of a misconception this has been discussed elsewhere. Do not assume you are covered with no MOT. http://www.diynot.com/forums/automotives/vehicle-tax-and-mot-renewal-question.405561/

Always good to have a bit of knowledge on your heating even if you don't plan on doing anything to it yourself. If it's new boiler time make sure you get some comparisons and 3rd party advice on what is currently good. Maybe come on here and start the usual ****-storm of what is a good...

vokera synegi 28e - constant intermittent d1 code

Who knows.....it's a nasty boiler and the "switch" is nothing more than a horribly cheap earthing device.....the merest hint of moisture will set them off. I honestly don't remember having to replace the PCB for a fault like this but it's entirely feasible. I certainly would have tried that...
