    Gravity fed shower issues

I have no idea. Would they be in the loft or airing cupboard?

That’s so bizarre, I just saw those. Very good reviews on Trustpilot and very cheap

    Gravity fed shower issues

They are thermostatic. I think they may be for Combi boilers... They were here when we moved in and have always been terrible. Shower #1 is 3 Litres a min and shower #2 is 1 Litre a min. Lol. I think that's limescale. Removing the head does a make difference but only from 3l/min to 4L/min. Is...

    Gravity fed shower issues

We currently have an open vented / gravity fed system which we are imminently going to replace. Investigating Combis, Unvented etc has lead me to test our various pressures and flows and I have noticed an oddity. Our mains is 12 Litres per Min Our bath hot tap gushes out at approx 20 Litres a...

12 Litres Per Minute - OK for a combi?

    Yikes, that's a big loss.

12 Litres Per Minute - OK for a combi?

Due to the issue with multiple appliances drawing hot water at once?

10.5 Meters. Yes by on-site I mean in the house.

12 Litres Per Minute - OK for a combi?

That's at the boundary and the property. Property 2Bar / 11L Min Boundary: 2Bar / 30L Min The Plumber we had 3 weeks ago measured these at 1.8 / 12.2 on-site.

12 Litres Per Minute - OK for a combi?

Is it worth switching our stop tap inside our house as a starting point, or is that unlikely to be of any benefit. The plumber who first came mentioned it was leaking ever so slightly but he 'patched it up'

12 Litres Per Minute - OK for a combi?

So we had the water guy here first thing this morning - I was not at home to talk to him unfortunately but he did leave us a note. At our House 2 Bar Pressure 11 L/Min Flow At our Boundary 2 Bar Pressure 30 L/Min Flow He didn't do any dynamic readings unfortunately. I guess it means we have...

12 Litres Per Minute - OK for a combi?

Thanks these seem to be a good option and would mean we can stay unvented and just replace the cylinder. I’ve seen some bigger ones such as 180L that claim to reheat in 25 mins which is fine for us. How much work is involved in a power shower install? I can’t see how they’d get the electricity...

12 Litres Per Minute - OK for a combi?

Yeah we're not bothered about being blistered. I just want something that's better than light drizzle. 12L/min would be an absolute dream be it form a combi or one of these power showers I would be super satisfied.

12 Litres Per Minute - OK for a combi?

Why didn't you enjoy the shower pump? Yes a power shower would be an option - they seem pretty cheap £250-£400, not sure how much they cost to install though. That said, they seem to deliver around 12L/Min which is what our mains is and what a combi would assumedly give, but obviously without...

12 Litres Per Minute - OK for a combi?

I will call the water board up. Our needs are simple. All we want is a more efficient boiler and a better shower experience for the kids. I like the idea of never running out of hot water as it happens every weekend here when 2 or 3 people want a bath, hence a combi and the space saving would...

12 Litres Per Minute - OK for a combi?

Thanks, yes that's where this forum and good people such as yourself are proving invaluable. It's genuinely appreciated. :) That is static as measured by one of the local plumbers, it's written clearly on the quote (the one who suggested a 40kw combi or an unvented cylinder which seems odd from...

12 Litres Per Minute - OK for a combi?

Hi @Madrab, so I took your advice and went back to the installer and requested a quote for the 30kw Vallient - they are saying to stick with 35. The 30kw will power 20 radiators (we have 14) and max HW flow of 12L/min (which matches our mains flow). The only benefit I see is if we ran 2...

12 Litres Per Minute - OK for a combi?

Thanks. We are having a magnaclean and filter installed, hopefully this helps flush it out. Our rads are currently ok so far as heat goes but the water is as black as oil.

12 Litres Per Minute - OK for a combi?

I have heard that before but I don't follow. I assume if the rads stay the same size we'd be OK? (They all get super hot currently but they are all small and single panel). Our existing system is pumped via a grundfos 15-60 pressure pump if that helps.
