Exactly. I have an MK USB A one which I think are around 2A. 10W I also have some MK fast charge ones, with A & C on them which can kick out 25W? But I prefer to use a plug in 5W to slow charge :LOL::rolleyes: MK also did some ones with USB A&C on them, but not fast charge. I don't have one...

That is naughtly using a bare cpc for a live conductor. They could of at least used neutral! If you don't want anything fancy, why change it? Personally I like the fancy ones where you can set different temperatures for different times of the day. A good compromise between comfort and economy...

If they can't replace the those fittings, add some decent ones inbetween. (on a different switch). Don't bother to turn the old ones on! They should last then, for the inspections

As you are discovering, moving the supply and CU is a very costly exercise. (some would say waste of money) I do hope there is a very good reason to move it!? Do you want a door way there or something?

so where is the new dno fuse and meter going to be? In a cab outside, near your front door ? I think you need to consider ways to run a cable. (could be 3 tails, or 1 round SWA) between the new supply and your existing CU. Say just below ceiling level. It's probably going to be ugly Your CU...

I think its now normal to have the fuse and meter in an outside meter box. (get on with it before they approve the idea of having a box sticking out your garden!) Your electrican will have to run a cable between that box and the CU. I guess you will have to consider where you want the meter box.
