Wow, I first joined diynot over 20 years ago, but oh my. What a bunch of opiniated plonkers it's got now. All I wanted was an honest opinion of an object I was trying to sell on eBay Apart from being accused of using it as a pretext to start a racist discussion by an ignorant individual, who...

    Is this racist

You've certainly got me heated. Read the bloody thing and you will see it's a genuine enquiry. I had already made enquiries elsewhere to see if it did or didn't meet with current acceptance of what is or is not acceptable. Sounds like you are a bit of a sh/stir###

Trying to sell various items on behalf of my wife's sister, but I'm not sure if this is classed as racist and if it will be accepted on eBay. Personally I think it's a nice piece but! What do you think

    Parking fine

To be quite honest I didn't see anything to suggest I needed a ticket. I wasn't paying anything so I just assumed putting my registration was sufficient. Never used this type of parking before.

    Pension credits

Now I hadn't thought about that, thank you. It does however not seem right, if you get me , to be taking the time up of a dept who should be dealing with clients who are grieving.

    Pension credits

A month ago HM Revenue and Customs wrote to my wife saying she may due to an increase in her state pension has she never claimed for the credits whilst she was caring for our late son who passed a way after a long illness in 2008. She never claimed for the allowance which she was due and that’s...

Blocked 7 metres long kitchen sink drain

Just thought I would show what I was up against by the attached pics.Cloakroom is to right of bay and kitchen is in middle. It was blocked solid to the right of bay and took some shifting with cables wires etc. Apart from that it was doddle and rubber grommet is hardly noticeable.

Blocked 7 metres long kitchen sink drain

Insert 1.5 metre rod through the hole and clear in both directions. No more holes were needed. It worked perfectly.

Blocked 7 metres long kitchen sink drain
