Sounds like the fan, does it only occur when the burner is going? Does it stop when the burner exstinguishes, if not it may be the pump.

Do you get the pump symbol on the display? The nomal sequence is demand, pump symbol, then gas flame symbol. So the boiler looks for flow, if ok it then open the gas valve by activating the fan, flame supervision to detect ignition, then after a minute turns gas up to full rate. How long before...

Can you hear the pump starting?

Look in your instructions and look for d codes and how to read them. I.e. fails to light or pump errors.

I'd expect it to show a fault code. If it doesn't detect a flow, pump running. It won't fire up but it should show a fault.

Does it get past s97?.

What's the display showing with the I button selected while doing this?

So if you disconnect these wires from the hive and jumper the two pins on the 24v rt connections the boiler doesnt fire up?

Which connection are your external controls connected to?

You should have 240v not 24 on those terminals. Don't like the flash on the pcb though

Post a picture of the wiring into the boiler please. If you bridge 3&4 does the boiler fire up, if not measure the voltage on both with a multimeter, one probe on the negative in, the the other on either 3 or 4, what doe you get? You need to see 240 V on at least one of them

Then it's external, S30 is no request for heat.

So if you observe the led panel using the i button what sequence do you get please. Do you have the install instructions? It lists all the S codes to explain their meaning.

In that case it should show an error code if it fails to run.

Have you reinstalled the pump. It won't run without it and will shutdown as soon as it detects a no flow situation.

You can wire the pump directly into a mains supply if you're confident with wiring to see if it works. Use a 5A fuse. You'll soon see if it blows the fuse. So not connected to the boiler electrically at all, just into a mains plug.
