Elon Musk and the $1 trillion pay offer

You couldn't make it up, migrant "accidentally" released from jail

What are you talking about? We're tough on crime and boy do the wrong 'uns know it! Oh wait ... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15264795/drug-driver-killed-girl-sentence-reduced.html We're going to see more and more of this. Folk receiving less prison time and/or getting released...

Dunno about arresting them. They should give them time off for services to the community.

The whole thing is a complete and utter mess. It was discussed last night on Debate Night (think Scottish Question Time) and it exposed the fact we currently don't have any substantial answers to this. For example, they discussed the fact 300 men are to be housed in the disused Army barracks...

You know how builders sometimes wolf whistle from on high to sexy ladies walking below? I suspect with you it's the other way round. The sexy ladies walking by look up, see you in all your perfection on high, and they wolf whistle to you :)

Rachel Reeves says higher taxes on wealthy ‘part of the story’ for November budget

Here's an idea, get the work-shy back to work, those with low level anxiety etc who are on benefits and could be working. Get them paying tax instead of penalising the hard workers and yes, the investors, even more.

    How do I adjust this?

Or indeed is there any adjustment? Background. It's a fire door so I don't want to do anything that compromises that. The issue is when the door is closed and locked, it's possible to push/pull the door slightly against the gasket. Normally in this scenario, I would adjust the hook keeps to...

You couldn't make it up, migrant "accidentally" released from jail

Drones dropping mobiles and drugs into prisons for collection by inmates. Folk chucking stuff over fences/walls for collection by inmates. Prison officers banging inmates and helping them in various ways. Prisoners running the wings not the staff. etc. Yeah it's fecked all right.

Rachel Reeves says higher taxes on wealthy ‘part of the story’ for November budget

Don't blame him. I'm a LL (no I'm not rich, no I don't drive a Range Rover, no I don't make thousands per month on my properties) and I see down south they're now starting to make it even more arduous to be one, something we're already experiencing up here. They seem hellbent on driving...

Rachel Reeves says higher taxes on wealthy ‘part of the story’ for November budget

This is the thing. They (politicians) love trotting out the phrase 'those with the broadest shoulders ...' and every time it's used I wonder who they're referring to i.e. from what starting point income wise.

Here’s where Keith and Rachel should be concentrating their efforts.

I felt particularly disgusted when one shop worker/owner said with apparent pride 'we have customers (of vapes and cigs) as young as 12'. And if true, the guy who charges them £250 a month to use his name on official documents is raking it in, I think one guy said he does this for around 200...

The only thing that slightly disappoints me about this picture is the fourth green container half way up the rack. It's squint :( As you know I, along with many others on here, think you are perfection personified. Therefore, I won't be the only one to be slightly surprised to see the squint...

This is what the Left and BBC do.

Whilst not without its faults, I think the BBC on the whole (i.e. not just its news output) remains something to be valued. The funding model definitely needs looked at, however it still puts out a lot of quality content. I'm still happy to use the BBC as one of my news sources. I suspect...

    Rachel Reeves budget

I think what many are quite rightly concerned about is if taxes are going up, how much of the additional tax take will we actually see in terms of better services etc. Or, how much of it is lost in the black hole of waste.

    Train Stabbings

When you stop and think about it, it's more than a shame. What am I referring to? Not liking groups of people based on a common factor e.g. their names, their culture, their race, the football team they support, the political party they support. If people actually spent time with the 'other...
