Danfoss 102E7 - not working and showing and new icon on scr.

Hopefully it's just the valve, whilst the powers dead it would be worth opening the pump and checking the electrics aren't wet, or you may need to budget a new pump into the job as well. Spray some wd40 or similar on your nuts and you shouldn't find it too hard as long as you I is what you...

    foghorn noise from airing cupboard

It's easier to change the whole thing as it can be the plastic internals that are worn out. It's straightforward to replace as long as you understand the basics of undoing and remaking joints. You may need a replacement washer for the mains connection but I couldn't tell you what size it is, I...

if to remove it, you MIGHT be able to push it open and flush it through. do it into a clean sink with the plug is. then you will see if any shiz came out. if not then i guess its time for a new one. possibly put a line filter in front of it so save le hassle in le future.

Change of control unit – now CH not working no power to pump

does the ch work when the hw is on, could be you are missing the 'off' wire from the clock and require the hw to be 'on' on the clock to allow the room thermostat to energise. you should have connections on n,l,1,3 and 4 iirc. plus earth :) :)

    repalcing a stopcock

Make sure the council empty the sand from the mains cock that it operates correctly. If not make them pay the water board to replace the stopcock as it is an 'emergency' control. You'll end up with a nice stopcock in the road this way.

Repalcing Cold water Tank Float Valve

it depends, sometimes it uses a 15mm compression connection, if present just use a smear of sealing compund on the old one. sometimes however it uses a skinny 1/2 fiber washer, which you MAY get away with reusing, but should really be replaced.
