if water is just dribbling out the hot tap , then first thing to check is the inlet filter on the flow turbine needs cleaning , tells you how in the installation manual . needs outer casing off

bleed it with the pump turned off

it needs a new pressure release valve , drain boiler disconnect pipe undue small allen key grub screw and pull , have a towel ready to catch any water

the cold water feed tank will either be immediately above hot cyl or in loft its the big one that feeds the hot cylinder . does the hot cyl have lid on top if so its a combined tank and cyl take lid off and check its filling up

stop look on the internet and go and see if the cold tank in loft is filling up press the valve down does water rush in :roll:

air pressure switch should do it , boiler does a quick check of parts when first switched on and if the aps was faulty would not go any further , fans usually ok on these ,

this is not a sludge problem . check ballvalve in the big tank in loft is filling the tank , then clear the air lock like the plumber did

just nip it up

just pull the white top off or lever it with a screwdriver . underneath if that is the spindle and a small gland nut if that is where the drip is coming from just nip the nut up till you can still turn the valve but no leak . theres no need to dismantle any thing, will take...

make sure the heating is turned OFF when bleeding the rads . some rads will sometimes suck air in when pump is running , a common mistake to think the pump needs to be running to push the air out .

hi, drain tank leave compression nut connected slacken lock nut a few turn wrap plenty of ptfe tape round the back it will compress into a washer when tightened up , job done .cheers.

then the problem is the cold water pipe to the boiler is frozen somewhere on its run, trace it back , its the small 1/2 inch pipe with a valve on right hand side under boiler , follow this pipe back and if it goes in loft somewhere cold or draughty that where it.ll be frozen ...

hi are you saying theres no water out the hot tap if so its probably main feed to the boiler frozen does it pass through the loft or somewhere else cold and draughty or if your get cold water out hot tap then probably needs new diaphragm or pin sticking in presure diff valve as already said ...
