Could the dhw flow switch be jamming in th call position. ? This will keep the pump on but the diverter won’t open to c/h and burner wont fire as no temp drop across the dhw stat. (Assuming a g/star model) One could unplug the flow switch from the pcb to test this

if it has 2 pumps , if the hw heat bank is hot then the fault is either dhw flow switch not calling or plate hex is blocked with system carp
