Look what I did to mine last year (it's in projects), albeit mine was different construction to yours.
Lightweight tiles, 2x velux windows, 100mm celotex between rafters, overboarded with 40mm. Made a massive difference to the room.
My set up was the same as yours. When I replaced the roof, building control said that the downpipe would either need to be connected to the existing house drainage, or a soakaway. I had to lift some Indian sandstone paving and dig around to the house. Can you remove the planks closest to the...

Bit of a bodge I guess, but short of building a cavity wall, it'll have to do
Yeah it was a conservatory of sorts, I've replaced the roof with tiles and insulation and has been signed off by building control.
It only gets damp when it rains, no other times, so I don't think it is condensation.

Last big job is to connect rainwater drainage to the existing pipework. Eventually uncovered the pipework coming off the house, it was under slabs, and then 8 inches of solid concrete just need to replace the uncovered section with a T piece, and then dig a trench for new pipework. An additional...
Hi, I went from brown varnish to white so pretty similar to you.
I used two coats of stain block and then satinwood. I probably could have got away with one coat but wanted to make sure. Two years on and there's still no sign of the old varnish.
