Is there a pump over run on the boiler? This would dissapate the heat from the boiler after it had finished firing and so ensure it would fire on the next demand. Ted

It's a normal towel rail with an electrical element. In the summer you use the electric to just heat the rail to warm towels. In the winter it acts like a normal radiator and heats when the hearing is on. Fitted loads. Ted

If you have a flueless fire fitted you need a permanent vent in the wall which will be more than a cold spot. A balanced flue fire will replace a power flue'd one fairly easily. Ted

Have a look at the Valor Dream Balanced flue fire. Can get rid of the fan and gives decent heat into the room. Will also work in a power cut which your current fire or electric fire won't do. Ted

You're better off changing the cartridge on the Mira. Any shower that cost 29.99 isn't gonna last very long. A Mira with a new cartridge will be like brand new. . Ted

20 litre bucket of water on your head = good flow rate, low pressure 20 litre of water squirted from syringe = poor flow rate, high pressure

The GW Ultracom Store is a decent bit of kit and will hold it's own against unvented cylinders if the incoming main pressure and flow is sufficient. It is one heavy beast though so allowances will have to be made for wall construction. Ted

If its just a better shower you're after then why not add a small unvented cylinder just for the shower. Can have it heated by the current combi you have which would mean you wouldn't need the gas pipe renewed. All depending on space and age of current boiler obviously. Ted
